Language Support

To change the default language of your Xtra-PC to something else:

1. Go to the Start menu (the blue X in the lower left corner), then “Local Administration,” then “Language Support.”

2. Click on "Install/Remove Languages…"

3. Check the box for the language you want to install.

4. Click "Apply" and when prompted, enter your password.

5. After entering your password and clicking "OK", the install for your new language will begin.

6. Once finished, you should see your new language at the bottom of the list in the "Language for menus and windows" list. Click and drag your new language to the top of the list.

7. Click on the "Regional format" tab and change the Display numbers, dates, and currency amount to the language you want.

8. Once finished, you must log out and back in to have the changes take effect. So, click on the start "X" button in the bottom left corner and chose "logout". When prompted, click on "Logout".

9. Once logged out, log back in again.

10. Once logged in, you will see a prompt asking if you want to update the user's folder names to your new language. Select to update to your new language.
